It’s that time of the season again! Although the Celine Fall 2013 lookbook isn’t readily available on the prada bags front page of Celine’s website, we did a little digging and found all the press images of the collection, including the wood-grain Phantom Luggage Tote and Classic Box Bag that the press was absolutely giddy over at the collection’s press preview several months ago. This line, which is considered Pre-Fall 2013 in average fashion parlance Phoebe Philo, in her infinite genius, realized that we already have four season names and don’t need to make up new ones, should become available in stores in mid-to-late summer. Sometimes, a bag just doesn’t make sense until you see it on someone. The woman in front of me on the street was wearing the bag slung across her body, with the black bag and blue strap contrasting against her mustard yellow jacket. It was the picture of weekend elegance, which, as it turns out, is still an actual thing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Who knew?
